Autogenous Film is start-up film production company looking to take advantage of emerging technologies and market places to enable the production of commercially succesful low budget films. We seek to strategically choose our projects to give them the greatest chances of ROI while reducing investiment to a minimum. We are new to the industry but believe that there are sufficient novel market disrupters and technological innovations to make it possible for us to compete effectively in an otherwise hostile ecconomic ecosystem. A comedy/horror short film created as a 'proof of concept' for a feature length film of the same genre currently in development. The feature length project strategically targets multiple markets that have been shown to have high independent commercial success in recent years; namely horror, comedy-horror and the silver/older person market.
A light heard documentary looking at the phenomenon of the 'Glasgow conehead',
an equestrian statue from the Victorian era, that for the last 30 years has been regularly becapped with a traffic cone by the people of Glasgow - much to the chagin of the local council who insist on removing it each time. A proof of concept short shooting in the summer of 2018.
Two young mothers try a psychological experiment on their children with unexpected results.
A production concept experimental short short in 2017 and currently in post-production.
The ghost / horror story of a grieving father and young daughter who inherit a old TV set with the power to bring what is is watched on it into the real world; too bad that the girl is obsessed with a horror channel ... A proof of concept shooting in the autumn of 2018.
